Ephesians 4v11


    
In this verse St.Paul exhorted the Ephesians who remained faithful in Christ to unity  but it remains applicable to the world today and especially for Christians, the servants of him  (evangelists, pastors,prophets,teachers,elders,deacons and saints who are elected by His graceous blessings).

speaking truth in love; it will certainly ensure good progress. Not only in this verse, but we can see in many  similar verses written by St.Paul. for the same purpose  to see strong growth in unity, faith and love. Some times he exhorted, some times warned, some times advised sometimes he commanded the congregations and the disciples in his letters to them.

The conclusive meaning or teaching in this verse is:- we are the parts of Christ's body. Christ is the Head. IT IS HIS STATURE. Unless each part of the body functions perfectly according to the instructions of it’s head (Christ), then there is no good growth in the body.  Each part must do it’s work properly, if the hands do not work we can't do any thing "handi capped" if the ear does not work, then we are called "deaf", if the mouth does not speak, then we are called "dumb". If the legs are not willing to walk, then we are called "disabled", if the eyes close so as not to see, then we are called as "blind".  In this way, if  any part of the body does not do it’s function, we are not called a perfect person who is able to give good growth to his body. Thus  all the parts of the body must have unity one with another.
                  
Only then that person may be called healthy and have the ability to do many works; good body growth comes with unity.
                  
 Hence the congregations are the parts of the body. Christ is the Head of the church. God elected some as apostles, some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors, and teachers.  Each must play his part towards ensuring the growth of the church (the body of the Christ who accords His graceous blessings to them that do His will.
            
St.Paul was inspired by the word of God and wrote letters to the congregations rather than to God, but God’s and St.Paul’s ambition, wish and desire are the same. That is that the parts of the body of Christ live in unity, speak truth, love their neighbors just as God loved us, lead faithful lives to produce good church growth, win souls for Him who is the Head. Amen!!!.
